What this policy covers
This explains what Trusted Local Realtor collects when you use this website, what we do with it, and how to get it removed. It applies to this site and to the valuation tool on it.
The short version: we collect what we need to price your house and get back to you, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
What you give us
When you request a valuation or a cash offer, you provide some or all of the following.
- Property information. The address, and what you tell us about condition, occupancy, repairs, and anything owed against the property.
- Contact information. Your name, email address, and phone number, so we have somewhere to send the number.
- Situation details. Anything you choose to tell us about why you are selling. You are not required to tell us this to get a valuation.
- Messages. What you write to us by email, text, or through a form, and notes from calls.
You can see what the tool asks for before you commit to anything on the cash offer page.
What is collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the time you were here. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
What we use it for
- Producing your valuation and, if you want one, a written offer.
- Contacting you about your property when you have asked us to.
- Running the transaction if you decide to sell, which means title work, contracts, and scheduling.
- Improving the site and the accuracy of our valuations.
- Meeting our legal and record keeping obligations.
We do not use your information to decide how hard to negotiate with you. How our process works from valuation to closing is written out on the how it works page, and the wider picture of your options is on selling a Baltimore house fast.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to other home buyers, investors, lead brokers, list companies, or data resellers. If you have used other we buy houses sites and then received calls from strangers, that is what selling leads looks like. It is not what happens here.
Who we do share it with
Only the parties needed to do the work you asked for: title companies and settlement agents, attorneys, contractors and inspectors where a property visit or repair is involved, and the service providers who run our email, phone, hosting, and analytics tools. Those providers may only use it to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to enforce our terms of service.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, keep forms working, and measure traffic through standard analytics tools. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Calls, texts, and consent
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your property. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling by telling us once, by phone or by email. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of getting a valuation or selling us your house.
How long we keep it
We keep property and contact information for as long as we need it to do the work and to meet legal, tax, and record keeping requirements, which for a completed real estate transaction can be several years. If you did not sell to us and ask us to delete your information, we will.
Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information
Email support@trustedlocalrealtor.com or call (855) 554-8114 and tell us what you want. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. We will confirm when it is done. Records we are legally required to keep, such as those tied to a completed sale, are the one exception.
Security and children
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, though no website or system is perfectly secure. This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. Questions go to support@trustedlocalrealtor.com, (855) 554-8114, or 881 W Lombard St, Baltimore, MD 21201. Every other way to reach us is on the contact page, and who we are is on the about page.
Questions people ask
Do you sell my information to other home buyers?
No. We do not sell, rent, or trade your details to other buyers, investors, lead brokers, or list companies. If you have used other we buy houses sites and then got calls from strangers, that is lead selling. It is not something we do here.
What do you actually collect when I ask for a valuation?
The property address, what you tell us about condition and occupancy, and a way to reach you with the result. Anything about your personal situation is optional. The site also records standard technical data such as IP address, device type, and which pages you viewed.
How do I get my information deleted?
Email support@trustedlocalrealtor.com or call (855) 554-8114 and say so. We will delete what we hold and confirm it is done. The only exception is records we are legally required to keep, such as documents tied to a completed real estate transaction.
Do I have to agree to texts to get an offer?
No. Consent to calls or texts is never a condition of getting a valuation or of selling your house to us. If you do opt in, you can stop texts any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling by telling us once.
